Depending               on               whom               you               vote               for               in               the               2008               Presidential               Election,               there               could               be               some               refreshing               new               options               for               long-term               care               in               the               future.

If               you               think               this               topic               is               only               for               people               over               50,               think               again.

According               to               a               December               2007               article               in               the               AARP               Bulletin,               more               than               30               million               American               adults               are               caring               for               elderly               loved               ones               at               home,               costing               the               younger               generation               a               whopping               $350               billion               per               year.

As               the               AARP               article               points               out,               some               of               the               2008               Presidential               candidates               have               first               hand               experience               with               caring               for               their               elderly               parents               at               home.

This               raises               the               important               question:               Who               will               do               anything               about               the               pathetic               state               of               the               long-term               care               crisis               in               our               country?

There               are               some               shocking               truths               behind               America's               long-term               care               industry               that               reveal               corporate               greed,               corrupt               politics,               deceit,               fraud,               and               shamefully               lax               laws               and               judicial               consequences               for               substandard               care.
